Whisper Of The Heart

Geriatrics project..

Went to an old lady house for the project today,

She is 83 this year, but looks strong and healthy..

Listening to her stories,
Inspecting her house conditions,
made me sad..

She has a daughter,  6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren,
But no one can even let her live in their own house, at least, if they really don't want to take care of her..

But, I respect her..
Still can survive, being independent,
Rent a room in other people's house to live happily..
Don't want to burden others, tried her best to walk very far and climb up the bus when she need to go to the hospital despite her aching knees..
i know she is very lonely, when she admitted that she cried everytime she thinks about her family..
No one cares about her, no one visited her, not even during hari raya...

How can a child, or a grandchild do something like that to an 83-year-old lady..

She will try her best not to burden you, but if you can't even let her take a little space of your house, do visit her..
She will be very very happy just because of that..

Wishing to visit her again..
She looks very happy when we came today..
